The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for performing high-quality plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs for Phoenix Water Solutions’ customers. They will utilize water conservation technology and uphold company values, ensuring positive customer interactions and high satisfaction. As the division grows, they will take on mentorship responsibilities, training apprentices to expand team capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency plumbing services, including diagnostics, repairs, and installations.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain service needs and solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all service calls, parts used, and hours worked.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to meet operational and financial targets.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Train and mentor apprentices as needed to support team growth.
- Proactively identify upsell opportunities aligned with customer needs and conservation goals.
- Manage tools, equipment, and vehicle inventory to ensure readiness for all service calls.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in plumbing services (2+ years preferred).
- Valid plumbing certification/license as required by local jurisdiction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to mentor and guide others effectively.
- Familiarity with water conservation techniques and technologies (preferred but not required).
