Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support electricians in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This role is essential for ensuring that electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely. The Electrician Assistant will work closely with experienced electricians, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks such as wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting.
- Conduct inspections of electrical components using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Help with high voltage and low voltage electrical work under the supervision of licensed electricians.
- Participate in frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to minimize risks on the job site.
Experience
- Previous experience or training in electrical work is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters is advantageous.
- Experience working with high voltage systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of commercial or industrial electrician practices is beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams is a plus but not required.
