We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Licensed HVAC Mechanic to join our team and support operations remotely in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive understanding of HVAC systems, with a proven track record of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in compliance with state regulations. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely while providing expert technical support, mentorship, and operational guidance to our team and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise:
- Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with North Carolina regulations and safety standards.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical solutions for HVAC-related challenges.
- Remote Guidance:
- Offer remote technical support to field teams, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of customer issues.
- Conduct virtual training and mentoring for junior HVAC technicians and apprentices.
- Compliance & Licensing:
- Ensure adherence to state regulations and maintain the validity of all relevant HVAC licenses.
- Review projects and installations to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure:
- Must hold a valid Master HVAC Mechanic License in North Carolina.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC repair, maintenance, and installation.
- Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and state codes.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, HVAC software, and remote communication tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Work Environment
- This is a remote position, but the candidate must reside in North Carolina to provide licensed oversight and compliance for HVAC projects in the state.
