Plumbing Designer
ClubWorks Engineering is actively searching for a dynamic and skilled Plumbing Designer to join our team. In this pivotal role, the selected candidate will work in close collaboration with architects, interior designers, and various professionals to deliver comprehensive MEP engineering and design services. These services span a diverse array of projects, encompassing clubhouses, club amenity buildings, custom residential structures, multi-family residential buildings, hospitality establishments, and other project types as needed.
Required Qualifications and Duties
- Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Florida Building Code, Plumbing Codes, and NFPA Standards.
- Utilize AutoCAD MEP and Revit for effective project design and implementation.
- Develop precise domestic water, sanitary system, and storm water designs in Revit.
- Produce equipment and system specifications and schedules.
- Collaborate and coordinate with owners, clients, architects, interior designers, and other consultants to create fully coordinated contract documents.
- Utilize strong communication skills, translating technical information into clear and accessible formats to co-workers, consultants, and clients.
- Contribute to engineering reports and field documentation for existing buildings.
- Review equipment and system submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), addressing queries promptly and accurately.
- Complete MEP engineering projects with high level of quality, on schedule and on budget.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Demonstrated proficiency with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the development of MEP engineering designs and consulting.
- Hands-on expertise in Plumbing equipment maintenance and installations, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices.
