Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and operate smoothly. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in apartment maintenance and HVAC, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems and equipment. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and a commitment to safety and quality and follow Fair Housing Law.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Conduct residential painting as needed to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the facilities.
Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Collaborate with Property Manager for projects and ensure timely completion of make ready, painting, maintenance, cleaning, etc..
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and ensure high levels of customer service.
Complete vacant units to make ready status: Painting, service maintenance, carpet cleaning, cleaning .
On-Call rotation for After-Hours Emergency Maintenance
Snow removal from sidewalks and ramps

Experience

Proven apartment maintenance experience 2+ years is a plus.
EPA refrigeration certified and HVAC certified or will pay for training
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and self motivated to work on own.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A solid understanding of safety protocols related to maintenance work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
