Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing a safe and efficient environment for all occupants.

Responsibilities

Receive and fulfill daily work orders and instructions for repairs from management.
Conduct inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility-related systems.
Perform drywall repairs, painting and other household repairs.
Follow through a list of maintenance items quickly and effectively.
Be proactive with maintenance, taking note of and reporting any issues.
Adress urgent repairs and situations as directed.
Be available to adress pressing matters at all times throughout the work day, as needed.
Multi task, at times adressing more than one request.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Adress general property maintenance needs and other property matters as requested.

Qualifications

Plumbing experience required.
Electrical experience
HVAC experience a plus
Extensive experience with drywall, painting and other household repairs.
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various systems.
Ability to read schematics and technical documents effectively.
Ability to multi task.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
