Silver Tree Residential is looking for a dependable, quality-focused Facilities Technician to join our progressively growing team in Cleveland, OH. Skyline Tower Apartments is an affordable community for SENIORS consisting of 278 units. The Facilities Technician is responsible for the prompt and efficient performance of all tasks assigned by the Community Director and/or Facilities Director and for continuous self-improvement of skills and expertise. We are looking for a reliable team member who is willing to uphold our community to the highest standards.

Summary of Requirements:

Working with Directors in managing all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property.
Inspecting, scheduling and performing routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Directors.
Capable of dealing effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors and co-workers.
Satisfying work orders promptly and efficiently.
Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators. Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
Assist in the make ready process of vacant apartments to get them ready for new move-ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
Prior property maintenance experience is preferred.
No certifications required - just good well-rounded maintenance experience
A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is REQUIRED.
English/Spanish bilingual is strongly PREFERRED.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of property maintenance experience. It is essential that the Facilities Technician report to work at his/her regularly scheduled work hours, and have the physical capability to walk all around the property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and otherwise perform a variety of physical tasks regularly and as needed.
