At Rooms Today Furniture & Mattress, we are searching for a proven sales performer who has a track-record of driving results to increase revenue at an established family-owned furniture store. The Store Manager should be a people-focused personality who knows how to create a winning sales culture while being a leader in every sense of the word. High Performance sales experience in the furniture/mattress industry is required.

The Store Manager helps ensure the smooth operation of the store, including meeting sales targets to include conversion, margin, profitability, ticket average and others. The Store Manager is also responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, managing billing/paperwork, writing schedules, ordering and other duties. The ability to work closely with the owner on achieving company goals is also required.

Qualifications:

Sales experience with a proven track-record as a closer (preferably in furniture) is a requirement
Must consistently hit revenue & KPI targets
Lead by example
Motivate others
Give appropriate feedback to associates
Assist with merchandising
Maintain Accurate Inventory
Accomplish Operational Objectives in a Timely Manner
Basic computer skills
The ability to work nights/weekends(Sat & Sun)/holidays is required for this position
A history of reliability
Self-directed & motivated

Physical requirements

Stand and/or walk during the entirety of the shift
Lift and move product up to 50lbs
Load/unload merchandise
