Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of maintenance skills and a strong commitment to customer service. This role involves performing various repair and maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are in optimal condition, while also providing exceptional service to our clients. The Handy Man will work independently and as part of a team, utilizing their technical expertise to solve problems efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance person tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to complete tasks accurately.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, using tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose issues effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Lead small teams on specific projects when required, demonstrating strong leadership skills.

Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documents.
- Proficient in welding techniques and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing small teams or projects is desirable.
- Knowledge of logic controllers is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between job sites as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $22.60 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 30 per week
