The Assistant Project Manager, under direct supervision of the Assigned Project Manager (Supervisor), is responsible for support and assistance in all phases of commercial HVAC projects. Assists project team and responsible for some of the major deliverables of the project.

Takes part and assists in pre-Construction, Execution, and Close-out phases of the project.
Follows and established processes in all phases of the project and holds team members accountable for following the same procedures.
Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
Review subcontractor submittals, verifying conformance to contract documents.
Prepare and submit purchase orders and follow-up.
Liaise with project lead and other project managers to maintain project schedule and efficacy.
Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals.
Capable of prioritizing tasks and activities.
Follow-up on pre-installation activities, e.g., confirming delivery dates of equipment.
Handles multiple projects simultaneously at various stages and locations, applying a strong knowledge of construction trade.
Completing any task assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of (2) two years in the Commercial Building Construction Industry. Additional education, certifications or license related to the HVAC field are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in construction, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Experienced with computer software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Great Plains, Project Management software and related financial accounting.
Knowledge of typical project management procedures, paperwork, and reporting.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
Able to travel - Travel will vary on project assignment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
