E.P. Homiek Sheet Metal & HVAC Supply is seeking an experienced Branch Manager at our busy Union, New Jersey location. For more than 37 years, E.P. Homiek has been a trusted supplier of custom ductwork and HVAC supplies for residential and commercial applications.

Position's Essential Functions

Work as a team player with other staff and communicate in a professional and courteous manner with coworkers and customers alike.
Hire, train, and manage new and existing associates on a continuous basis.
Ensure branch is OSHA safety complaint and all associates are properly safety trained.
Strive for continuous sales improvement through inside and outside sales support.
Ensure all associates understand and comply with the EP Homiek employee handbook and Union branch rules.
Keep staff productive during slow times.
Practice and manage any and all conflict resolution.
Hold regular branch meetings with counter and warehouse associates to discuss issues and opportunities. Keep open flow of communication on how to work efficiently and support customers on a continuous basis.
Help maintain a clean, operating facility inside and out. Manage, repair, and service all equipment on a timely basis.
Provide and promote professional sales displays, signs, materials, and handouts.

Physical Requirements

Able to lift or move 30 pounds and able to reach, stand, walk, or sit for long periods and do repetitive motions

Qualifications

HVAC Branch management: 5 years (preferred)
Must speak English and Spanish
Good communication skills including good phone etiquette, legible handwriting, accurate spelling & grammar
Good listening, planning, administration and presentation skills
Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities and assignments
Good working knowledge of the phone system, computer software and hardware applications
Self-starter with a positive attitude
Ability to work with others and to perform multiple tasks
Ability to work accurately with a strong attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly
Must be able to handle confrontational situations

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
