C&S Machine is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team in Niles, Michigan. Responsible to ensure the safe and efficient operation & electromechanical repairs of all plant equipment. (CNC Machines, Robots, etc.)

Seeking a thorough, technical & dependable individual with a high attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously be experienced with machine maintenance.

Duties include:

Schedules, supervises and coordinates preventative/predictable maintenance and repair of all production equipment within the plant.
Work planning and coordination with all outside contractors, millwrights and electricians
Conducts machine troubleshooting & repairs. Works to ensure maximum uptime of plant equipment.
Coordinates with all outside contractors and ensures that work is completed in a safe manner that complies with all necessary health and safety legislation and regulations.
Communicates all maintenance activity to Supervisors and Operators.
Improves and maintains existing Preventative Maintenance systems in place.

Skills/ Knowledge:

General electric running duties
Board and control troubleshooting
Hydraulics knowledge
Machine repair
Pneumatic controls and delivery
Overall maintenance system management
Building infrastructure (Heating/Cooling)
General fabrication and repair
