JOB SUMMARY
An entry level apprentice plumber assists our experienced plumbing technicians while learning this skilled trade. If you are interested in furthering your career as a skilled plumber, working for a respected brand, and looking for advancement opportunities Benjamin Franklin Plumbing could be the right place for you! All apprentice plumbers are provided with an environment and experienced plumbers to teach, train, and support the advancement of your skills and career development. Apprentice plumbers are evaluated every 6 months do determine progress, identify goals, and give raises.

JOB DUTIES

Ask questions, observe, learn, and help the experienced plumbers daily, on all jobs at all times
Continually work to advance your technical trade knowledge of plumbing systems
Constantly learn and advance your communication and customer service skills, the most successful plumbers excel in this area
Learn how to bid and price jobs using our Straight Forward Pricing Guide and/or time and material estimates when appropriate
Wear floor savers while in the client’s home and maintain a neat work area while performing all work
Learn proper testing of each aspect of the job before leaving a home to make sure everything is working properly
Help to ensure the job was completed correctly and eliminate unnecessary callbacks after the job is finished
Help esures clients are 100% satisfied with all work
Convey a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of vehicles and homes at all times

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must have applicable certifications and licensing required by the state of Utah
Entry-level knowledge of residential plumbing systems and codes - New to the trade? We will train the right person
Self-driven and responsible
Interested in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Looking for growth and advancement opportunities
Superior communication and customer service skills
