Overview
Group14 is looking for a Field Technician and Energy Audit Supporter with strong written communication skills to join our Multifamily Housing team and support our commitment to transforming the built environment to realize a more resilient future.

Responsibilities

Support Group14 team members on energy audits and measurement and verification site visits. This will include conducting inventories of lighting, HVAC, domestic hot water, envelope, and other building systems.
Provide administrative support to MH team members, including tracking project schedules, scheduling client site visits, reporting out testing results, and other project administration support.
Test residential heat pump equipment for quality installation verification. This includes verifying proper refrigerant charge, airflow, load calculations, and system control. (Training will be provided.)
Up to 25% time travel (in and out of state) will be required.

Skills

Strong written communication skills required
Engineering undergraduate degree or HVAC trade background preferred
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated, creative, and driven to do well at any task
Ability to tackle multiple tasks, prioritize, and perform work with minimal supervision
Ability to work cooperatively and successfully with teammates, clients, and other outside third parties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
