Job Summary
As a Master Plumber at J. Crawford Construction, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the plumbing systems on various construction projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with local codes. We seek a meticulous professional with proven expertise in commercial and residential plumbing installations and maintenance. This role is key for ensuring the smooth execution and operational functionality of plumbing systems across our projects. Must be willing to be the RMP for J. Crawford.

Responsibilities

Design, install, and maintain high-standard plumbing systems for construction projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing and materials required for each specific job.
Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade plumbing systems throughout construction phases.
Ensure all plumbing work adheres to local, state, and federal legal regulations.
Coordinate with other construction team members to integrate plumbing with other building systems.
Manage team members as needed to complete projects timely and effectively.
Conduct inspections and system testing to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance.
Provide expert advice on modern plumbing technologies and sustainable practices.
Retain knowledge of HVAC systems for integrated work
Operate hand and power tools applicable to trade
Organize, manage, and maintain tools and materials
Estimate time, material, or labor costs for use in project planning with administrative team
Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains
Manage a work log and anticipate needs for upcoming projects
Submit reports of work completed at various job sites

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Master Plumber license in Texas
At least 5 years of experience in plumbing within the construction industry.
Valid Driver's License
Proficient in using plumbing tools, equipment, and technology.
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and plumbing standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in various outdoor and indoor conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
