Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and perform installations and renovations in commercial settings. This role requires a keen understanding of electrical codes and safety standards, as well as proficiency in using various hand tools and equipment.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Utilize voltmeters and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Renovate existing electrical systems to meet updated codes or client specifications.
Work with low voltage systems including security alarms, data lines, and lighting controls.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure project completion.
Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for all installations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers and low voltage applications.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards.
Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
Certification or relevant licenses as required by local regulations.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
