Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pretreatment washers, dry-off and cure ovens, environmental rooms, conveyance systems, and controls to specific requirements.

Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Technician that will be responsible for system interlocks and power connections on all equipment.

Electrical Field Technician Duties/Responsibilities:

Assemble complex wiring layouts on electric units
Set up and testing of systems
Communicating problems and quality control issues to co-workers and managers
Anticipating material and resource needs for upcoming projects
Keeping work area clean and organized
Operating forklift, pallet jack, scissor lifts, or other equipment

Electrical Field Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

Experience with 480VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC wiring
Basic understanding of system electrical prints
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Installing electrical components (i.e., unwrapping, cutting, installing components)
Bending EMT conduit
Installation of wire basket and cables
Terminate Ethernet ends
General use of hand tools
Willing to travel to complete the electrical installation for our systems
