Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman & Apprentice Plumbers to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires expertise in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems.
Assemble and install valves, fittings, and other plumbing components.
Perform troubleshooting to identify issues with plumbing systems and implement effective solutions.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other tradespeople on construction projects.
Conduct heavy lifting as required for installation or repair tasks.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations during all plumbing work.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Journeyman/Apprentice Plumber with relevant certifications or licenses.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing installations.
Ability to build, assemble, and install various plumbing components effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues.
Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Carry General Liability Insurance as this is a Sub-contracting position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.80 - $33.90 per hour
