State Street Properties is a full-service Maintenance company servicing apartment communities and commercial properties in Metro Denver. We provide Maintenance and Make Ready services to over 100 Apartment buildings. When an old tenant moves out our Make Ready Technicians turn over the units and make them ready for the next tenant.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to be a part of our State Street Maintenance Team to work across our Central Denver Portfolio. Preferred qualifications include:

-Strong knowledge of making ready apartment units
-Experience with the following:
-Filling nail holes
-Painting
-Trim work
-Drywall
-Flooring
-Cabinets
-Light Fixtures
-Outlets
-Basic plumbing
-general carpentry
-Knowledge of major appliances, including HVAC
-Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical when no license is required
-Good verbal, written, and communication skills a must.
-Good customer service skills, and experience working with tenants.
-Ability to work independently.
-Flexibility to be on call and occasionally work weekends and nights if necessary
-Ability to read, analyze and interpret all forms of information
-Ability to accept and learn from constructive criticism
-Well organized, detail oriented with ability to prioritize
-Must be team oriented but able to work independently on occasion
-Ability to multi-task
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-Ability to follow oral and written instructions
-Basic computer and Internet knowledge

Job Requirements

-Must have a valid Driver's License
-Must have Reliable Transportation
-Preferably previous experience in community management maintenance, painting or other building maintenance or related trade, but we are willing to train applicants
-Must be able to move up to 50 pounds' variable distances
-Own a Basic set of hand and power tools, Company does not supply tools
Must be available for on call emergency, rotation every 3 weeks, Sunday-Sunday

Pay is $22.00-$25.00 an hour based on experience.

Paid vacation and Holidays, Healthcare, Vision, Dental and 401k eligible after 90 days
Mileage reimbursement.
40 hours per week. 8-5 Monday- Friday.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, carpentry work, and construction painting.
- Utilize strong communication skills to interact with team members and report any issues or completed tasks.
- Analyze equipment malfunctions and apply troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Drive to various locations as needed, requiring a valid driver's license.
- Collaborate with customers to provide exceptional service and address any maintenance concerns promptly.
