Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, learning essential skills and techniques necessary for a successful career in electrical work.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical layouts and requirements.
Support the team in performing high voltage installations and troubleshooting using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
Participate in framing carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Engage in ongoing training opportunities to enhance knowledge of electrical systems and practices.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of electrical principles; prior experience as an industrial or commercial electrician is a plus.
Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints is preferred.
Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating physical stamina for lifting and moving materials.
Willingness to learn about high voltage systems and proper usage of testing equipment like voltmeters and ohmmeters.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices within the workplace.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
