About Us:
We are a growing General and Electrical Contractor specializing in large-scale construction projects. We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team, focusing on both general construction and electrical project estimations. Solar estimation experience is a plus.

Job Description:
As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for projects exceeding $750,000, with a focus on electrical and general contracting scopes. You will work closely with project managers and clients to ensure all estimates align with project specifications and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for general construction and electrical projects.
Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
Identify and quantify all scope elements, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project risks and develop cost-effective solutions.
Assist with bid proposals, change orders, and value engineering efforts.
Stay current on market trends, material costs, and construction techniques.

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship required.
Must be capable of obtaining Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Defense (DOD) security clearances.
Minimum of 3 years of experience estimating projects with a value of $750,000 or more.
Proven experience estimating electrical projects (solar estimation experience is a plus).
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but practical experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
Proficiency in estimating software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
