Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in plumbing and gain hands-on experience in the field. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, assisting in various plumbing tasks and learning essential skills necessary for the trade.

Duties

Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand plumbing layouts and requirements.
Participate in remodeling projects by installing new plumbing systems or modifying existing ones.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks such as pipe threading and assembly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to code.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Learn about construction plumbing techniques and best practices through hands-on experience.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of plumbing concepts is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing work.
Ability to read schematics and blueprints is a plus.
Experience in construction or maintenance person work, including carpentry skills, is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.
A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
