Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in electrical systems, including both high voltage and low voltage applications. This role involves working on construction sites, where you will be responsible for building, installing, and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). You will utilize various power tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with NEC standards.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems.
Perform troubleshooting on electrical components using tools such as voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project plans.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with local regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as an Residential Electrician or similar role in a construction setting.
Strong knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.
Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Experience working in compliance with NEC regulations is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other trades.

Pay: $27.78 - $30.05 per hour
