We are looking for a dynamic HVAC Service Operations Manager to join our growing team in Linthicum Heights, MD!

The HVAC Service Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our HVAC service department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to meet client needs. This role involves managing a team of technicians, coordinating service schedules, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical HVAC knowledge, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of HVAC service technicians, dispatchers, and support staff.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and facilitate ongoing training and development.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and manage technician schedules to optimize service response times.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of service calls, ensuring timely and quality completion of work.
- Manage and improve the workflow of service operations, including work orders, invoicing, and reporting.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the service department to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Monitor inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure technicians are adequately supplied.
Customer Service:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, addressing any escalated issues or concerns.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that service agreements are executed efficiently, and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Financial & Budget Management:
- Manage departmental budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
- Monitor profitability by analyzing job costs and driving cost-effective solutions without compromising service quality.
- Work with leadership to develop strategies for growth and profitability within the service division.
Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal HVAC regulations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure that all employees adhere to OSHA and company-specific safety policies.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure that all tools and machinery are in safe working condition.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in HVAC service operations management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, FieldEdge).
Experience managing budgets, P&L, and operational metrics.
Familiarity with industry regulations and safety protocols.
HVAC licensing or certification preferred.
