Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with heavy commercial HVAC systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in large commercial buildings, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and control systems.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
Interpret and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to effectively install and repair HVAC systems.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and parts used.
Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients about system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
Stay current with industry trends, advancements in HVAC technology, and safety regulations to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in HVAC preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC technician, with a focus on heavy commercial systems.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, VAV systems, and control systems.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.
