Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our customers by providing efficient and reliable HVAC solutions.

Duties:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and refrigeration units
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning using specialized tools such as ohmmeters
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Comply with all safety protocols and regulations

Skills:
- Proficiency in appliance repair and maintenance
- Experience with air conditioning systems
- Ability to use ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools effectively
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Van driver experience is a plus)
- Knowledge of refrigeration principles including ammonia refrigeration
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience as a mechanic
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven experience as an HVAC/R service technician

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in HVAC preferred
