Job – Key Result Areas (KRA)

1. Effectively Manage the Asphalt Plant Operations

o Hire, Train, Mentor and Grow your staff to run their respective plant operations.

o Create a development and evaluation program that allows top performers to grow as well as mentor and bring up the less experienced.

o Insist on the Highest Standards on all the items below

o Be the leader of the plant division in learning & teaching the OCI process. Help teach this division what continuous improvement means & how important it is.

o Work closely with the Maintenance Division to make sure Equipment is repaired in a timely manner.

o Manage 50th Street AC Storage.

o Manage and Refine Crushing operations across all plants.

2. Safety

o Establish and maintain all operations in a safe and workable situation

o Follow all OSHA regulations and create a culture that maintains a high emphasis on safety practices.

o Train and equip the whole team on all emergency procedures.

o Perpetually audit all plants to ensure proper guarding is in place, procedures are in place, and employees are abiding by safe workplace procedures.

o Insist on clean, organized facilities

3. Create and Maintain the Highest Standards of all the Team

o Customer Service and Friendliness in Communication

o Professional and Respectful Internal and External Communication.

o Improve communication between the HMA Plant Division and all other divisions of the company.

o Accurate and Timely reporting of all paperwork, dispatches, trucking time cards.

4. Produce all Material in Specification and in coordination with Quality Control Dept.

o Stay in total communication with QC Dept. ensuring we are on the leading edge of quality and efficiency with our mix designs.

o Educate yourself and your team on QC process and results.

o Manage Material Inventory with production efficiency in mind. Both Aggregates as well as Liquid AC.

o Verify between the plants and QC that we are making the correct mix with correct materials

o Teach and follow up that we are making the best mix for the customer with the most effective materials

o Follow up with sales and any customer that has any mix quality issues.

5. Plan for and ensure maximum Production

o Teach, Train and Maintain all plants to ensure 99% run time availability

o Constantly educate our team on plant operations with internal and external opportunities

o Evaluate and maintain the appropriate level of spare parts and all relationships for availability of these parts.

o Insist on maximum production capabilities for efficiency

o Provide knowledgeable insights of plant capacity for planning of next day orders

o Learn and stay the Innovative leader in our marketplace

6. Permits and Regulations

o Learn and educate the team on all rules, permits and laws that we operate in accordance with.

o Operate within these boundaries (Storm water, air quality…)

o Report as needed to our governing agencies (OKC, ODEQ…)

o Manage SWP3 Reporting.

o Ensure Air Quality Emissions are always in accordance with specific plant permits.

o Oversee Underground Tanks and will be supported by corporate License Holder.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
