Essential Job Functions:

Perform basic level work to repair and/or replace HVAC systems and equipment to include, but not limited to, chillers, fans, starters, RTU’s, AHU’s, Duct, condensers, and other various HVAC equipment and systems.
Complete required documentation to include, but not limited to, work order forms, order forms, use computer software as applicable.
Make initial settings and final adjustments of HVAC systems and modifying existing installations to obtain required results.
Assist in the repair and overhaul of pumps and compressors.
Assist higher leveled air conditioning mechanics with major overhauls, alterations and repairs as required.
Change filters, clean coils, clean motors, change v-belts and sheaves, pack pumps and valves and lubricate equipment.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education & Experience

Work requires an educational background normally equivalent to high school with course work in skilled craft or trades training.
Work requires 2 years experience in the HVAC industry.
Current and active Driver's License (with a clean record)
Effective communication skills; both orally and written.
Computer skills preferred.
Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Must be comfortable with heights.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
