Job Responsibilities:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical systems per plans
Follow architectural drawings to determine the installation of wiring systems
Knowledge and understanding of the latest National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes
Plan layout of electrical wiring and equipment, keeping in mind local building codes, NEC codes, and project specifications
Ability to problem-solve and determine the severity of electrical issues
Ability to select the correct tools and materials needed for the repair work that needs to be done
Replace faulty wires and parts and ensure that the new ones are in proper working order
Inspect electrical systems and components to determine condition and identify needed repairs
Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, receptacles, circuits, panels, and panelized lighting systems
Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in a timely manner
Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions
Follow established company processes and procedures

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year holding a Journeyman Electrician license or Residential Wireman license under TDLR
Valid US Driver's License with clean driving history
Possess and maintain required tools
Must be physically able to lift heavy objects as necessary
Team player who can think and work independently
Must pass a background check as well as drug testing
Must have reliable transportation
