Installation:

Elevator technicians install elevators, stairlifts, and related types of automated transport equipment. During installation, your duties include reading blueprints and schematics; connecting wires to control panels and motors; installing tracks, doors, and hanging rails; installing, programming, and adjusting PLCs, …

Maintenance:

After installation, a dedicated individual must maintain and service an elevator or stairlift in order to keep it working as designed. As a technician, you will generally focus on preventive maintenance, including but not limited to, inspecting alignment, clearances, control panels and wires - replacing parts as well as adjusting equipment when necessary.

Repair:

Repair duties entail troubleshooting any questionable issues that arise with the unit, locating, removing and replacing damaged or broken parts; testing the safety and functionality of repairs; and maintaining a repair log. You will also be called to perform emergency repairs on short notice.

6 years Experience Elevator Mechanics; or,
8 years Experience in: (May be combined)
HVAC Mechanics, Electronic Maintenance and Repair, Hydraulic Maintenance and Repair, Automotive Mechanics, Plant Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance
Complete Hand Tool Set (Specialized tools provided)
Mastery of All Multimeter Functions
Ability to Lift and Move 80 lbs Without Assistance
45 Minute Commuting Distance to Bountiful, UT
Ability to Commit to 40-50 hr Work Week (Overtime paid)
Ability to Travel Throughout Mountain West - Utah, Colorado, Eastern Wyoming, Montana, Northern New Mexico (Same day and overnight [reimbursed at actuals])
