Position Overview:

The Dispatcher supports world-class service and efficiency when dispatching orders for products or deliveries to both internal and external customers. They cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last-minute schedule changes, and provide them with information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and other requirements.

What you’ll do:

Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries
Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
Use radio, phone, or computer to send crews, vehicles, or other field units to appropriate locations
Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance
Monitor the routes and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedules

Skills We Are Seeking::

- Responsible for dispatching Bobtails, Tri Axles, Quads and Super Dumps
- Requirements:
- Must have aggregate dispatching experience
- Must be computer literate and have strong communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to take on multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to communicate on several different platforms. Phone, Text and email.
- Strong Problem solving skills.
- Use a computer and general mapping software effectively.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Quick Learner and multi-tasking a must due to the fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area.
- Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.
