Must have irrigation, agriculture and or nursery experience, store is in Bridgeton, NJ. We are looking for a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations. You will be the leader of our team and will be responsible for the overall store success. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of tasks with attention to detail and discretion. You must be able to work independently and be able to inspire trust, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory and inventory control in the store
Establish and maintain relationships with customers and drive sales
Address customer complaints/issues, as they occur
Ensure high quality service by maintaining standards of cleanliness, food safety, and safety
Maintain regular store cleanliness by performing cleaning duties regularly or as needed
Undertake the responsibility of setting up and preparing for the next shift when there is no shift present
Propose ways to improve staff morale
Respond to customer requests and complaints
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
Coordinate with departments when issues arise and assist when needed
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, new products, services, laws, etc.
Assist in keeping the store neat, clean, organized, stocked, etc.
Undertake other tasks as assigned by management

Skills

Proven experience as a manager, sales or similar role (preferred)
Understanding of retail principles and customer service practices
Familiarity with inventory control procedures
Excellent communication skills along with professionalism
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Must have irrigation, agriculture and or nursery experience
