Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Plumbing Drain Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, cleaning, and maintaining residential plumbing drain systems. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform residential drain cleaning, maintenance, and repair services.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, including clogged drains, sewer backups, and other related problems.
- Operate plumbing equipment such as drain snakes, jetters, and camera inspection tools.
- Provide clear and accurate explanations of plumbing issues and solutions to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including customer properties and company vehicles.
- Complete all work orders, documentation, and invoicing accurately and promptly.
- Uphold safety protocols and company standards at all times.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a drain technician or similar role in the plumbing industry is required.
- Knowledge of residential plumbing systems and equipment.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various physical conditions (e.g., tight spaces, outdoor environments).
- Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
