Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC principles and the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on heating and cooling systems to identify issues.
Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot system malfunctions.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to assess system performance.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure all systems are functioning efficiently.
Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.

Skills

Proficient in building and servicing HVAC/R systems with a focus on air conditioning units.
Strong background in property maintenance with an understanding of appliance repair techniques.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting.
Experience in field service roles, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills in various environments.
Knowledgeable in the use of diagnostic tools including ohmmeters for electrical assessments.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
