Stanley Steemer is seeking a dynamic and results oriented Commercial Sales Manager to be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our commercial client case. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of success in B2B sales.
Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Business Insight:
- Utilize market insights to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in trade shows and conventions.
- Promote, sell, and secure sales from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers (using the tools, programs and resources provided by Stanley Steemer).
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity.
- Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service.
- Work with the Commercial Coordinator, Branch Manager and Technicians to ensure quality services are executed to new and existing clients.
2. Customer Service
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and concerns.
- Visit existing clients in between cleaning to maintain current client base and maintain a harmonious business relationship.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
3. Sales Forecasting and Reporting
- Create accurate sales forecasts and reposts for management review.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
- Responsible for meeting/exceeding the budgeted commercial sales goals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize market penetration.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of B2B experience in service-based sales organization preferred (HVAC experience a plus)
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven experience in commercial sales with a successful track record
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends
