HVAC Chiller Service Technician

HVAC Technician Chiller (Union) Responsibilities:
- Under general direction from our field Technical Team Lead perform chiller preventive maintenance, repair, installation and replacement of associated Commercial HVAC mechanical equipment, chiller equipment control systems.
- Self-starter with a passion/ desire to learn and apply on the job
- Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items
- Adheres to customer and safety standards in compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest of ethics
- Assists in developing quotes and estimates, as appropriate
- Assists with keeping customer informed on the nature of service provided outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or repairs as applicable
Qualifications:
- Union Card Holder – Plumber and Pipefitter Local OR (Willing to join Local #9)
- High School Diploma, GED required
- 3+ years' experience in general chiller installation/ maintenance/service
- 5 + years’ experience in general commercial HVAC maintenance, installation, and repair.
- Air cooled/ water cooled, various compressors
- High tonnage, absorber experience a plus
- Clear Motor Vehicle Report, drug screen and background check
- Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
