Job Summary: The Service Technician/Installation Trainer is responsible for providing technical repair and service work either in the facility or the field. The Service Technician/Installation Trainer will assist customers with questions and provide repair services. The Service Technician/Installation Trainer will train new service technicians and installation crews by showing them how to install siding and provide excellent customer service.
Salary: $40,000.00 per year, plus bonus plan
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday, 7 am - 4 pm or until job duties are completed

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Trouble-shooting repair needs that are difficult to identify
- Explain complex installation, diagnostic, and repair issues to a non-technical audience
- Repair damaged siding, windows, and doors in the customer’s residence•Respond to service requests and repairs promptly
- Facilitate training for newly hired and existing Service Technicians and Installation Crews by providing specific procedures and quality standards
- Delivers and facilitates structured training and development programs and initiatives supporting the company's service initiatives
- Provides continual coaching by providing on-the-spot feedback based on service observations and performance gaps
- Update and develop training material to meet the needs of the service and installation department. Evaluate phone, email, chat, and service quality using Continental Siding’s standards and guidelines
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a service technician
- 2 years of experience as a trainer, training specialist or related position
- Strong working knowledge of equipment and tools used in the windows and siding industry
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems based on the customers’ non-technical descriptions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
Experience:
- Siding: 1 year (Required)
- Service technician experience: 2 years (Required)
- License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
