Job Description:
Day Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm
Purpose: Oversees maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all production and supporting equipment. This position reports to the Maintenance & Production Supervisor
.Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on a variety of equipment, including ironworkers, saws, threaders, forklifts, steam boilers, cranes, overhead doors, exhaust fans, galvanizer lines, and wheelabrator/rotoblasters.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic facility issues, troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues, including minor plumbing..
- Schedule outside vendors for building and equipment repairs.
- Order necessary chemicals, lubricants, and repair equipment.
- Install and commission new equipment.
- Perform other maintenance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
- Prior experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Preferred certifications: Millwright or Electrician.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Physical ability to lift 75 pounds, stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Valid driver's license.

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
