Where is the work:
This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What you will do:
Functions as Equipment Solutions Leader in the area. Responsible for the administration, implementation, and management of the equipment fulfillment processes in its goal of operational excellence, support of overall strategic objectives, and accountable for overall project and area financial results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other functions may be assigned.
- Overall responsibility for the following functions within the categories of new equipment, start-up and warranty service, and controls equipment: order validation, order entry, order follow up, customer inquiry, submittals, service coordination, building automation coordination, project management, technical support, claims, and resource allocations.
- Ensures that quality standards are maintained, after an order is closed, for equipment installation process and functions required for execution and customer satisfaction, including new equipment, start-up and warranty service, and controls equipment.
- Responsible for achieving mission objectives regarding profit and resource goals. This includes running key reports weekly/monthly to monitor progress/performance to metrics within the area.
- Monitor, measure, and modify process and process measurements to effectively and efficiently meet customer needs.
- Partners with Area General Manager and Sales Leaders that entire equipment ordering process works as seamlessly and effectively as possible.
- Interacts with sales to ensure smooth hand off of projects from the sales process.
- Develops or works with associates to establish required skill sets, talents, and capabilities.
- Coordinates and collaborates with peers in region for standardizing roles/responsibilities; mentor/mentee opportunities and sharing best practices across team.
- Conducts annual performance appraisals.
- Manages associate performance for effectiveness and efficiency in relation to customer service and center profitability.
- Maintains quality standards by supervising and inspecting internal process compliance.
- Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and staff as needed.
- Responsible for internal communications flow relative to the fulfillment process.
- Responsible for keeping abreast of Trane products, product design, and requirements for installation as well as working knowledge of HVAC principles.
- Reviews project measurements and monitors projects through warranty periods.
- Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coach associates in the equipment process. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the team. Carries out management/leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Construction Mgmt. or equivalent; OR eight (8) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $86,500 - $150,000. Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
