We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will play a crucial role in providing high-quality service to our customers.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition, repair needs, and estimated costs.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient workflow within the shop.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for vehicle repairs.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic or service technician in the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification) are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
