We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician Supervisor - Crew lead to join our niche family-owned holding company. This position will perform the day-to-day activities for a small portfolio of commercial properties controlled by an experienced small and well financed commercial real estate group.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and functionality of the assigned commercial property(s) and to preserve the condition and functionality of several of our properties. Additionally, will assist and perform a variety of maintenance tasks including:
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures.
- Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
- Safety Inspections including fire extinguishers to ensure in working order and approved.
- Planning and scheduling repairs of faulty equipment units, lighting, and damaged structures.
- Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
- Trash removal, on-site resupply, minor janitorial (clean entry doors, windows, demo, construction repairs)
- Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, carpentry, and caulking
- Managing heating, cooling, and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
- Install/remove walls, replace ceiling tiles.
- Landscaping, including installation, trimming and removal of surface plantings and trees.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years previous construction or maintenance experience
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work solo as well as with a team.
- Must be flexible and able to respond quickly to various situations.
- Ability to respond to after-hour emergencies.
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs. or more.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Proven ability to successfully manage a portfolio of commercial real estate assets.
