Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for Reporting to the Operations Manager and service dispatcher, the Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician will be responsible for performing the day-to-day activities on a variety of assigned service work.
Responsibilities:
•Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
•Requisition materials and supplies as required
•Ensure safe working conditions are enforced and strictly adhered to in accordance with company and client policies
•Prepare all necessary paperwork (time sheets, service reports, etc.) in a timely manner
•Maintenance, trouble shooting, installation, repair, tear down and rebuild or commercial chiller, packaged equipment, make-up air
system, computer room equipment, pump repairs and alignment’s, check out of VFD’s and other commercial and industrial HVAC-R applications.
•Disassemble, repair and reassemble existing mechanical equipment. Install new equipment, gas lines, refrigerants lines, etc. retrofits, repairs,
•Responding to commercial customers HVAC & chiller needs in emergencies
•Complete work orders, deficiency reports, field quotations, estimates and daily time summaries in a timely fashion
•Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing
•Perform routine maintenance and servicing

Education & Skill Requirements:
•Graduation from high school or General Education Diploma
•Must have 5 years + experience and EPA certification
•Knowledgeable of LG, Trane, Mitsubishi, Carrier, York, Daikin, Multi-Stack and Toshiba AC systems both air cooled as well as water cooled equipment.
•Must have the appropriate license to work with all refrigerants
•Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
•Proven planning and scheduling skills
•Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
•Good co-ordination and manual dexterity
•Ability to work well with co-workers and effectively deal with customers
•Work with minimal supervision, knowledge of mag bearing chillers a added plus.
