Job description

Seeking an experienced HVAC and refrigeration technician to join our elite Tasty Hut Maintenance team. We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of the premises. Perform duties that may involve light plumbing repair; HVAC maintenance; light carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, or floors. Demonstrate your mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to read diagrams and schematics. The ability to repair and maintain AC units, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, modular restaurant refrigeration equipment, ovens, PHUs, ice machines, and reach-in coolers.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License for at least three years with no major traffic violations or accidents within the past 3-5 years, (a term related to occurrence). Minor violations shall be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Ability to pass a background check.
Service multiple locations.
High attention to detail.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipment.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents.
Self-motivated with the proven ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal direct supervision.
May be required to occasionally work outside of normal work hours.
Complete work orders in a timely manner.
Regularly inspect grounds, building, and kitchen equipment and systems

Minimum Qualifications:

HVAC/R: 1 year (preferred)
EPA Type II
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of technical experience and knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tools) is a plus.
