About this role:
Carrier Commercial Services has an opening for our North America Commercial Service Sales Leader.
Carrier Commercial Service in Carrier's factory service group for commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Our services include preventative and corrective maintenance, overhauls, retrofits, technical assistance, controls, parts, and temporary solutions.
Reporting to the Managing Director of Carrier Commercial Services, the Sales leader will develop a strategy for a sales force of over 200 sales professionals while driving North America regional revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish strategic action plans and sales targets for all North America sales markets, reviewing progress with local sales management continuously
- Support cultivation of global product offerings based on customer, industry & internal feedback
- Refine existing programs collaborating closely with local and national leadership
- Nurture and expand relationships with existing key customers
- Lead Commercial Services growth initiatives throughout the North America region
- Assist sales channel partners (i.e., distributors, direct sales offices, rep firms) to elevate customer experience
- Identify product gaps and develop solutions to mitigate the potential impact
- Collaborate across Carrier functions and business divisions to expand growth and successful execution of cross-business unit opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8 + years of experience of HVAC sales experience
- 5 + years of Sales Leadership experience
- 40% travel required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and/or learning agility.
- Strong knowledge of Carrier commercial products
- Demonstrated experience leading and executing complex projects.
- Strong ability to lead and develop diverse, cross-functional project teams to achieve high levels of performance in a dynamic, changing environment.
- Proven ability to lead large programs, executing with speed and exhibiting a bias for action.
- Demonstrated skill in using project management tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format across a wide audience.
- Ability to quickly identify new and innovative ways to work faster and simpler.
- Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks, and implement progressive, sustainable solutions
