We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Manager to oversee and enhance our IT infrastructure, systems, and teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape the technological future of our organization and to be part of a team that values collaboration and professional growth.
The Information Technology Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing activities related to computers, servers, communications, cloud systems, and information technology infrastructure. This role involves leading IT research and development efforts, supervising internal staff and external vendors, and ensuring that IT solutions align with the organization’s business needs and goals.
- Strategic Planning and Recommendations: Make recommendations for hardware, software, and communication solutions.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and coordinate activities with IT vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Proposal Development: Develop proposals and budgets for systems, projects, and maintenance plans for CEO approval.
- Project Management: Develop and manage timelines for the acquisition, installation, testing, and training of new hardware and software solutions.
- IT Infrastructure Maintenance: Maintain essential IT infrastructure including operating systems, security tools, applications, Microsoft 365 email, and network systems.
- Technical Support: Lead help desk support efforts, responding to and resolving IT issues to minimize operational disruptions.
- Account Management: Create and manage system permissions and user accounts via Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
The ideal candidate will have strategic vision, a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory or project lead experience in a technology field.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Windows administration.
- Experience with Power Platform development (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint).
- Basic understanding of scripting languages and/or coding.
- Working knowledge of network engineering, SD-WANs, and cloud-based applications.
- Experience with Audio/Visual conference systems and phone system setup/troubleshooting.
- Understanding of information security solutions and experience with point-of-sale terminals and signature capture machines.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain high customer service standards.
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and situations, prioritize work effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
