JOB
Under general supervision, is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various electrical, control, and instrumentation systems. Ensures compliance with electrical code, State regulations and s industry standards in all work performed. Provides leadership and instruction to Division Personnel in the operation and maintenance of pump stations, deep wells, chlorination systems, chemical feed systems, water tanks, and other equipment required for the delivery and pumping of water and wastewater.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Education: High school diploma or GED Experience: Five (5) years of experience in maintaining, construction, repair, and servicing of complex industrial and manufacturing power systems, wiring systems, and motor starters and controlsCertifications: Journeyman Electrician’s License Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)Preferred: Master Electrician LicenseNote: The City retains the right to determine equivalencies.Any certifications not possessed at hire, must be obtained before the employee is removed from probation in order to continue employment with the City.
