We are seeking a General Manager (GM) to join our team! As GM, you will be responsible for overseeing all functional areas to ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable operations of Cedar Creek Brewery.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Kitchen Lead, Front of House Lead, and maintenance activities.
- Review/approve all hiring of employees.
- Confirm that all new hire documentation is completed/maintained.
- Ensure all employees are adequately trained in their job functions.
- Ensure employee certifications (TABC, etc.) are maintained to satisfy any regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct regular staff meetings such as pre-shift, monthly safety meetings, and seek out team building opportunities.
- Conduct periodic employee performance evaluations and document any disciplinary actions.
- Track/forecast inventory levels associated with beer, liquor, and kitchen operations.
- Manage contract brewing services to ensure adequate beer inventories are maintained.
- Track/monitor employee discount programs.
- Document all food/drink waste amounts.
- Provide oversight of all building operations relative to repairs, preventive/predictive maintenance, etc.
- Coordinate with CCB Board of Managers, Tap Room Lead, and Kitchen Lead, to develop and execute annual event/activity calendar.
- Ensure implementation of marketing strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Monitor monthly P&L reports to confirm accuracy, identify abnormalities, etc.
- Ensure all accidents/injuries are adequately investigated, reported and corrective actions implemented to prevent recurrence.
- Represent the brewery as ambassador to the local community i.e. patrons, community associations, etc.
Qualifications:
- Previous management experience in restaurant/bar industry.
- Energetic/upbeat personality that is comfortable interacting with customers and employees.
- Strong leadership qualities
- High school diploma, or equivalent (GED) required
- Ability to read, and comprehend the English language is required.
- Ability to perform simple calculations of figures and amounts such as proportions, weights, percentages, volume, etc.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills

Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
