*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team. As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation of solar panel systems, contributing to the growth of renewable energy.
MUST be willing to travel, job is out of town 2 weeks on 1 week off.
Stay and travel is paid for and per diem.
Multiple States MI, LA, GA, VA, FL
*Responsibilities*
- Install solar panels on rooftops in accordance with project plans and safety standards
- Perform electrical wiring and connections for solar energy systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Utilize high voltage and low voltage equipment during installations
- Conduct fixture installations and ensure proper functionality
- Use a voltmeter to test electrical systems
- Operate a forklift for material handling as needed
*Experience*
- Experience in solar panel installation is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with electrical systems and components
- Ability to work effectively on rooftops for extended periods
- Experience with fixture installation and wiring techniques
