Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure that HVAC systems are installed, maintained, and repaired efficiently. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repair or replacement.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, thermostats, and ductwork.
- Conduct refrigerant recovery and recharge as needed.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to complete complex projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems is a plus.
- Experience driving a van for transporting tools and equipment to job sites.
- Welding skills are advantageous for certain repair tasks.
- Proficient in equipment repair and maintenance practices.
- Ability to design effective HVAC solutions tailored to client needs is preferred.
- Experience in field service operations is beneficial.
- Background in property maintenance is a plus.
- Knowledge of refrigerant handling procedures is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.23 - $33.03 per hour
