Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems and hot equipment at various McDonald's restaurants, in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. The Refrigeration Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of refrigeration equipment.
Duties
- Maintain and repair refrigeration systems and components.
- Repair and maintain hot kitchen equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on equipment.
- Perform equipment repair and property maintenance tasks as needed.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues.
- Build, weld, and plumb necessary components for system installation or repair.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.
Experience
- Proven experience in HVAC/R systems is preferred.
- Strong mechanical skills with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with refrigerate systems and their components.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to refrigeration systems.
- Previous experience in property maintenance is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
